Some thoughts from the artist:
The clouds broke the last couple days and I finally was able to get up the courage to venture into my studio.
I recently spent an hour talking to my therapist about creating. About moving the paint around. About working the lactic acid out of my creative muscles. He smiled and just said, "Anna, you're feeling again. Welcome back."

Exploring smaller pieces and with freer strokes and even a bit of a different color palette. This piece is a start to something new.

I opened my studio door.
I squeezed some paint.
I mixed it.
And then I found so much joy and breath I began to cry.

Finding my way back to myself.
